Yukan'nas rise began with failure. Wounded in his first true battle, the young prince realized that birthright alone would never make him great. If he chose the Oath of the Blade, he would rebuild himself through discipline, becoming a precise and deadly swordsman whose skill could decide any clash of steel. If he embraced the Oath of the Veil, he would turn from the sword entirely, delving into forgotten lore to become a subtle, formidable Shugenja blessed by his troops and feared by his enemies. Whichever oath he chose, Yukan'na proved himself many times over.
