Painting Commissions

     Welcome to Fantization's Commission Painting Service by Number Zero Studios.  Here is where you can commission your miniatures to be painted by Number Zero Studios.  Below you will see samples of our previous projects as well as guidelines to this service.  Please have a look and drop us an email at sales@fantization.com or call us M - F 8am to 5pm PST at (714) 525-3211 if you have any questions.

What is the process to paint your mini?  This is what you get.

- Each mini is cleaned of all flashing and mold lines to the best
possible results

- Resin/plastic minis are washed in warm soapy water to
clean off any residual releasing agents from the casting process

- All parts of the mini are pinned if possible to give it
a stronger assembly and less chance of breaking

- All minis are primed with a white undercoat to help the paint
to adhere and bond well during the painting process

- 3 to 8 hours of actual painting time per Standard Commission

- Each mini can have any kind of environment applied to the base
such as grasses, dungeon floor, snow, jungle, natural rocks, etc.

- All minis are sealed with a matte coating to protect the
finished painted mini

- Final images of each project are emailed to each client

- All minis are packed & shipped with extra care to ensure
they're received in perfect condition

- PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO DISCOUNTS ALLOWED ON OUR PAINTING SERVICES.  THIS IS A MANUAL TIME CONSUMING SERVICE AND WE WILL NOT DISCOUNT IT.  HOWEVER ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED WILL BE DISCOUNTED ACCORDINGLY.  ONCE YOU'VE PLACED YOUR ORDER WE WILL SEND YOU AN UPDATED INVOICE LESS ANY AUTOMATIC DISCOUNT APPLIED TO THE PAINTING SERVICE PORTION OF YOUR ORDER AND THAT IS THE NEW BALANCE DUE ON YOUR ORDER.  THANK YOU AND WE HOPE YOU ENJOY OUR PAINTING SERVICE.

PRICES:
  Our prices start at $65 per 28-35mm humanoid type miniature on foot. The Standard Painting Commission for $120 is the most popular choice.  For a mounted 28-35mm miniature it starts at $150 to $175 depending on the complexity of the model.  The prices include cleaning and prepping the miniature, primer, pinning and gluing, a basic base of your choice of style such as round square, etc... and finally sealing the miniature with three layers of a matte finish to protect the final painted miniature.

Please Note:  We do not paint armies but we do make exceptions from time to time so feel free to contact us about your army to be painted.

CHECK SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY BEFORE ORDERING:

PAYMENT:
  We require full payment up front and all sales are final on painting commission, no refunds what so ever.  To commission a painting simply add the "Painting Commission" item below to your shopping cart as well as the miniature to be commissioned for painting.  Once you've made your purchase we will contact you via email or phone to get instructions from you on the preferred color scheme and any other details.

TIME TO COMPLETION:
  We require at least a four to six weeks time frame to complete a human sized miniature, six weeks for a mounted miniatures, and for large monsters or 54 - 80mm models may vary in the time to complete unless otherwise agreed upon.  We usually finish most commissions withing two weeks but these are the time frames to expect to be safe.  Also any holiday will cause a delay in the the time frame to completed project.

FINAL APPROVAL (PRIOR TO SEALING):
  We will email you the final painted miniature prior to sealing it for your approval of a front and back shot.  Once you approve the miniature we will seal it and send it off to you with the balance of your order.

SHIPPING THE FINISHED PAINTING, ALL COMMISSIONS MUST BE INSURED:
  The final painted miniature will be packed with the utmost care to ensure it is not damaged in the shipping to you.  We can ship via all the standard shipping available during your check out which include USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, or US First Class International.

ALL SHIPMENTS MUST BE INSURED:  Due to previous excesively damaged packages on other commissions all customers must purchase insurance for the cost of the entire project.  The insurance will cover the cost of the painting service, and the cost of the miniature or item being painted, or any other items of value for the project.  We work to hard on these painting for our customers and we know you want to receive your item in perfect condition when you receive it.  The cost of insurance is about $2.00 per $100 of value.  This is approximate and may very but by having your shipment insured it gives you piece of mind that you'll get your item safe and sound.

  *All the above are guidelines and are subject to change per our discretion per project without notice.  By paying for a commissioned miniature to be painted by Fantization Miniatures you agree to all of the above terms and conditions.  Any and all additional fees for shipping, insurance, tracking confirmations, etc. are the customers responsibility Fantization Miniatures does not pay for any of those additional fees.
